Trump was right not to bomb Iran. Now he needs a strategy.



Another example of how we encounter rhetorics day to day. The author has taken a different approach to present presidents’ decision to fall back from bombing Iran, versus the approach the other author did in my previous blog. He gives only two reasons being that “150 Iranians might have been killed”, and that “the proposed airstrikes in responded to the shooting down of a U.S drone would have dangerously escalated a confrontation with Tehran”. This author has chosen to pave a clear path for readers by not burdening them with several reasons, but narrowing things down to two reasons, and letting readers know that the president should “set realistic goals”.
