Front Page News
When looking at the Visual Rhetoric of the front pages of magazines which pertain to important events, it is obvious that the editors use very eye catching text to draw the reader's attention to open and buy their magazine rather than another companies magazine. The front pages are very colorful and use live action pictures to showcase that the certain situation did happen as well as giving readers a mental picture of the current situation. "Images, not just words, provide us with information and change the way we think", if the visuals draw a reader in, it might make the reader open about what there is to read inside the magazine.
