Jenn Feng is an Asian American journalist and well-known feminist with a strong online presence as she is an advocate for equality, specifically for Asian American women. Feng founded her blog, Reappropriate.co, which is one of the oldest Asian American Pacific Islander blogs on the web and also where she chooses to make her voice heard. Being such a strong leader and public figure for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Jenn advocates for gender and racial equality and has gone against traditional gender norms. Many great leaders, such as Obama, admire her work and describe her to be “a leader and mentor, empowering women to use their voice loudly and freely, and “live our lives unapologetically”. Jenn Feng is not only a journalist who goes against norms to fight for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, but she is someone young girls can look up to and be inspired by.
