Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Many people might have heard of Palestine or when someone mentions it another person may say “you mean Israel?”. As a Palestinian it is very offensive but it is always better to educate someone than to attack them. In this article the history and conflict between Palestine and Israel is well explained. In 1917 it was known as Palestine until about 1947. “Following the horrors of the Holocaust in which up to six million Jews were killed in Europe, the push for a Jewish state became ever stronger” which means the country had to be split between Arabs, Jews and international trusteeship regime in Jerusalem and the Arabs did not accept that and believed the United Nations had no right to take their land away. That’s when the war began and is going on today. Palestinians were killed and forced to leave their homes and countries. My grandparents and father for example had to leave Palestine and migrate to other countries in the Middle East. Today Palestine is known as Israel and hundreds of innocent Palestinians are being killed everyday for no reason, simply for wanting to stay in their country.
