Fox News vs. CNN...Who’s better?
Nowadays, people can choose from over a hundred different sources to find their news network or preference. Fox News and CNN are among the most popular news sources. Each network connects to their audience using certain diction, like how Fox News tends to focus mostly around gun control using words like, “control, shooting, massacre”. Fox News appeals more to the political side side to their audience, using words that’ll grasp their attention. They use a more graphic approach in their news reporting, such as gun control, “Fox’s chyrons focus overwhelming on gun control, whereas the topics on MSNBC and CNN were more varied.” CNN predominantly stays away from sensitive topics like gun control.
