A Pakistani blogger and journalist, named Muhammad Bilal Khan, was hacked to death. He was 22 years old. Muhammad was had over 48,000 followers on his Youtube channel.
"Khan was known for his criticism of the all-powerful military and its notorious spy agency."
On June 16th, Khan and his friend Ehtasham met an unknown man in the city Islamabad after receiving a phone call. When the two of them arrived at the location, several unknown individuals attacked from behind and stabbed Ehtasham. Khan was then dragged to nearby woods and stabbed over 17 times. The police have launched an investigation, including whether Khan's journalism was a motive. In Khan's most recent video, he gave a political commentary about the prime minister and about a bill that would eradicate sectarianism in Pakistan.
