Extra! Extra! Read ALL of it!

News content has continued to be integrated into the social media platforms including but not limited to, Twitter and Facebook. These news posts pop up on a user’s feed based on who they follow or their recommendations from these sites. These company’s use eye-catching titles on news posts to draw in readers, but these can often be subjective. Which becomes a problem since “There has been a decrease in how much of an article that people read. Most people will just scroll through their newsfeed and stumble upon relevant news content but just read the headlines.” With the subjective titles used for news posts, it is important that users also read the full context news content before they share or evaluate the news story.
