The City by the Lake

 

The city by the lake is known for its growing community and growing town. Due to all the growth with new roads in construction and new buildings being built, some residents of The Colony have some opinions about all the changes being made. I conducted some interviews with a few of the residents and received interesting feedback about the new changes.

When speaking to Jennifer who lives close to The Colony High school she felt "motivated" and "Excited" about all the improvements happening. she explains "The Colony is growing and all of the changes being made are great, yes they can make the commute to work a little difficult with the detours but its all worth it in the end."

I was able to speak to a different resident about the changes and he felt different. David who lives on south colony feels "like they are taking to long to get all of this done, it truly is an inconvenience having to work around all of these detours" he also stated " I have had to get new tires 3 times already because I keep running over nails from all of the construction." he didn't seem to appreciative of all the new improvements.

The people of The Colony have two different sides. One side who is all for the construction to better their community and the other side where they are just not for any of it. They see it more as a waste of time. I guess you just cant please everyone.
