Check the facts

President Trump has not been the most adored Commander-in-Chief during his time in the oval office. A lot of it is due to his wrongdoing, but some of it can also be credited to false information and fake news. In January of 2017, Donald Trump tweeted “FAKE NEWS – A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT.” So regardless of how you feel towards President trump, it is important to be able to spot fake news when it presents itself. You need to first set aside your own personal bias and look passed the headline. Second you should ask yourself if you recognize this source as reliable or not. Third you can crosscheck the story with another reliable source. And lastly, you can visit a site, like factcheck.org, to fact check the story in question.
