David Farley: Traveling Journalist

I found a very interesting traveling journalist, David Farley. He has been all over the country and worked for Afar, National Geographic, the New York Times and many other news outlets. He got his start writing an article about an event in Czech-Austria where the villagers killed pigs. He was asked what his advice would be to other writers. He said “Read. A lot.. pay attention to how the writer has structured her or his piece.” I thought that was an interesting little bit to keep in mind. It’s not just about the words you use but how you piece them all together.
